
ENDERBY, BC — The Western International Junior Hockey League (WIJHL) is proud to announce the addition of the Enderby Icemen as the league’s newest expansion franchise set to hit the ice for the 2026/2027 season.
The addition of the Icemen marks another significant step forward in the continued growth and evolution of the WIJHL, further strengthening the league’s presence throughout British Columbia and enhancing opportunities for athletes pursuing advancement within the league’s streamlined development pathway.
The community of Enderby has a rich history of supporting junior hockey and is widely recognized for its passion, community spirit, and commitment to the game. League officials are confident the Icemen will quickly become an exciting and competitive organization both on and off the ice.

Further announcements regarding hockey operations staff, player recruitment, branding initiatives, and season ticket information will be made in the coming months as the organization prepares for its inaugural season.The WIJHL continues to build a modern, progressive junior hockey model focused on player development, advancement opportunities, and sustainable community-based hockey operations throughout Western Canada and the Northwestern United States.
