The Western International Junior Hockey League would like to congratulate former Creston Valley Thunder Head Coach and General Manager Geordie Wudrick on being named Assistant Coach for the Chicoutimi Saguenéens of the Quebec Maritimes Junior Hockey League.
Wudrick spent the past two seasons behind the bench with the Creston Valley Thunder, where he served as both Head Coach and General Manager before accepting the opportunity to join the Saguenéens.
Geordie concluded his professional playing career following the 2019-20 season before transitioning into coaching. Originally selected by the Los Angeles Kings in the third round (88th overall) of the 2008 NHL Draft, Wudrick enjoyed a professional career that included stops in Sweden, Germany, and Australia.
Congratulations Geordie on this well-deserved opportunity, and we wish you nothing but continued success in the next chapter of your coaching career.
